Featuring a 30 mm tube diameter, the ALPEN OPTICS Apex XP 1.5-9x45 is a universal riflescope for day and twilight hunts. The duplex illuminated reticle is located in the second focal plane and does not increase in size when you zoom in. In addition, with the ALPEN OPTICS Apex XP 1.5-9x45 riflescope you don't need to do any calculations using the MOA (minute of angle) system, as you can adjust the reticle using MRAD - i.e. 1 click = 1 cm at 100 metres

It is waterproof to up to 3 metres (IPX7), and can therefore withstand strong rain, snow, fog or even a short spell in a stream. The sturdy housing provides a reliable seal and prevents liquid from getting inside the optics. In addition, the optics are filled with nitrogen to prevent the lens from fogging up and obstructing your view in the event of abrupt changes in temperature. Second focal plane (SFP) reticle
The reticle is located in the second focal plane, and therefore does not increase in size when you zoom in. As a result, the subtension depends on the zoom level.
