Even in adverse weather conditions, this high-quality ALPEN OPTICS Red Dot Sight keeps your target firmly in view. Heavy rain, snow, fog, or even a brief submersion in a stream do not affect the Argus LT, which is waterproof up to 1 m (IPX7). The sturdy yet lightweight aluminum housing keeps liquids reliably away from the interior. The red dot sight is also filled with nitrogen to ensure clear vision even at extremely fluctuating temperatures, so the lenses cannot fog up from the inside. As a true premium red dot sight, the ALPEN OPTICS Argus LT Red Dot Sight 1x22x17 is of course shock-resistant up to 1,000 g Magnum calibers when closed.
Innovative DynamicDot Technology
By using a motion sensor, the innovative DynamicDot Technology conserves the battery and makes this red dot sight quickly ready for operation. The illuminated reticle automatically turns on as soon as you move the rifle and bring it into position. If it remains motionless for 2 minutes, the illuminated reticle turns off again. Your Argus LT Red Dot Sight is thus quickly ready for use, saving not only power but also valuable time.

Difference MOA and MRAD
The MOA and MRAD turrent systems refer to two different measurement systems: metric and imperial. The Metric and the Imperial. Thus, the imperial system uses MOA and inches, and the metric system uses MRAD and centimeters. Therefore, at some point the question arises which turrent system is the better one. First and foremost, it's a matter of habit and personal preference.
MOA
MOA stands for Minute Of Angle and corresponds to 1 / 60 of a degree. The system is suitable for those familiar with the imperial system, since it is calculated in inches. 1 MOA is equivalent to 1.047'' at 100 yd (2.9 cm at 100 m).
MRAD
MRAD stands for milliradian and is 1 / 1000 of a radian (angular measure). 0.1 MRAD / MIL is equivalent to 1 cm at 100 m and is suitable for those using the metric system. One advantage of the metric system is, that it is very easy to calculate. The shooting distance (unit meter) can be quickly converted into the unit of turret adjustment (centimeter). One click of an MRAD click adjustment thus corresponds to 3 cm (0.03 m) at a firing distance of 300 m. ALPEN Optics uses MRAD 0.1 click adjustments for all riflescopes.
