Apex XP 8x56 binoculars are made from premium ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass, which allows you to observe your surroundings in stunning resolution and colour. The prisms are made from high-performance BaK-4 glass.

In addition to a waterproof housing that prevents water from entering the optics, they also feature a nitrogen filling that stops the inside of the lenses from fogging up. Ideal for long tours: weighing just 1042 grams, the binoculars are relatively lightweight for a 56 mm model.

Crystal-clear images with premium quality optics
Unlike the standard BK-7, the optics are made from BaK-4 glass (barium crown glass) that produces even sharper and brighter images. The high-quality BaK-4 glass optics are used in all ALPEN Optics products sold in Europe.
More light for clearer images
The optics are fully coated with a premium multi-layer coating, which increases the light transmission to up to 95% to produce stunningly bright images.
Weatherproof design
The binoculars are filled with nitrogen, which prevents the inside of the lenses from fogging up and obstructing your view during abrupt changes in temperature.
Watertight design
Thanks to the waterproof housing that prevents liquids from reaching the inside of the optics, you don’t need to worry about heavy rain or dropping the binoculars in a puddle.
Easily adjustable for glasses wearers
Thanks to the twist-up eyecups, the design is also suitable for people who wear glasses. The distance between your eyes and the lenses can be easily adjusted to allow you to see the complete field of view.
Fine tune to your vision
The built-in dioptre adjustment allows you to quickly adjust the optics to your vision and compensate for differences between your left and right eyes.

The ALPEN Original Neckstrap Pro offers outstanding comfort on the neck or shoulder with its 45 mm wide and 5 mm thick support surface preventing slipping thanks to the Anti-Slip surface on the inside. As the strap is 5 mm thick, it is ideal for heavier devices. The quick release of the binoculars or camera is also easily guaranteed due to the Quick-Release Locks.
