The ALPEN OPTICS Apex XP 2.5–16x42 is a universal riflescope designed for day and twilight hunting. It has a tube diameter of 30 mm and comes with the German #4 illuminated reticle, which is located in the second focal plane and does not increase in size when you zoom in. This means that you don't need to do any calculations using the MOA (minute of angle) method. The reticle can be easily adjusted with MRAD - i.e. 1 click = 1 cm at 100 metres.

Weatherproof and recoil-proof

The sturdy housing provides a reliable seal and prevents liquid from getting inside the optics. Parallax compensation for perfect positioning
Simply set the parallax compensation to the desired range and the position of the reticle will remain the same. This is particularly useful if you look into the eyepiece at a slight angle, as the reticle will stay locked on your target.

Differnce MOA and MRAD
The MOA and MRAD turrent systems refer to two different measurement systems: metric and imperial. The Metric and the Imperial. Thus, the imperial system uses MOA and inches, and the metric system uses MRAD and centimeters. Therefore, at some point the question arises which turrent system is the better one. First and foremost, it's a matter of habit and personal preference.
