Terms and Conditions of the Contest

1. Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

By participating in this contest organized by ALPEN OPTICS GmbH on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/alpenoptics.europe) the participant expressly and bindingly accepts the following terms and conditions.

Only natural persons aged 18 years or older are eligible to participate and win. If additional eligibility requirements apply, these will be specified under section 3 (Contest Mode) and section 5 (Prize). Excluded from participation are all employees of ALPEN OPTICS GmbH, the company's cooperation partners, sponsors, and all other persons involved in organizing the contest, as well as first- and second-degree relatives, spouses, or registered partners under the Civil Partnership Act of the aforementioned persons.

3. Contest Mode

The contest begins on December 1, 2024, with its announcement and ends on December 31, 2024, at 11:59 PM. The prize is an Alpen Optics Apex XP 8x56 binocular valued at €549.00 (RRP). The winner will be informed of their prize via direct message on the ALPEN OPTICS Instagram page by the Social Media Team.

Cancellation of the Contest by ALPEN OPTICS

ALPEN OPTICS GmbH reserves the right to cancel the contest. This particularly applies if the contest cannot proceed as planned, such as in the event of computer viruses, software and/or hardware errors, or other reasons that significantly impair the contest. This also applies in cases where the execution is substantially hindered or prohibited for legal reasons, as well as in the event of manipulation or attempts at manipulation affecting the administration, security, integrity, and/or proper and regular execution of the contest.

4. Costs

If participation in the contest is online, no additional costs are incurred apart from individual connection fees unless otherwise explicitly stated.

5. Prize Distribution

The complete prize will be sent to the winner by parcel delivery. For this, the winner must provide ALPEN OPTICS with their name and address. There is no entitlement to a cash payout of the prize.

6. Press/Promotion

The winner agrees to make themselves reasonably available for audio, photo, image, and text promotions as well as editorial reporting, including on the internet, on the respective pages of ALPEN OPTICS GmbH, and grants the necessary rights for this purpose. The winner also agrees that their name may be mentioned in this context.

7. Datenschutz

The data submitted by participants to ALPEN OPTICS GmbH as part of the contest will be handled in strict compliance with all applicable data protection principles. Unless separate consent is given, the data will only be used for the purpose of processing the contest and will be deleted thereafter.

8. Legal Recourse

All information is provided without warranty. A cash payout of the prize is not possible. Legal recourse is excluded; the rights under the data protection declaration remain unaffected.
